Ingredients

• 1/2 cup sago (small) soaked • 4-5 cups milk • 4-5 tablespoon sugar • 2 tbsp almonds finely chopped • 4-5 types of saffron (soaked in milk) • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder (Optional) • 1/2 cup water

Directions

• We have soaked 1/2 cup sago in 1/2 water for 2 hours. • Heat a milk on a non stick strictly in medium flame. • When the milk becomes hot and it boils in it, add sago to soaked. • Now add sugar to it and mix it well. • Cook it on medium flame till the sago is transparent and the milk becomes thick. It will take 10-15 minutes, stir it with a spoon to stop it from sticking. • Reduce heat and add almonds and saffron in it. You can also add cardamom powder. • Cook for 5-7 minutes now. • Turn off the gas and take out the kheer in the bowl. From the top you get the punishment from the almond. • You can serve it cold or hot in the fasting or dinner.
