Ingredients

• 1 cup tur dal(split pigeon peas) • 1 tbsp of groundnut • 1 tomato chopped • 4-5 garlic curry finely chopped • 1 tsp cumin seeds • 3-4 green chilies • 5-6 curry leaves • 1 teaspoon mustard seed • 1 Teaspoon Hing (Asafoetida) • 1/2 tsp Red Chilly Powder • 1/2 Teaspoon Celery • 1/2 cup Wheat Flour • 1 Tbspn Chickpea Flour (gram flour) • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder • Salt to taste • 2-3 Cups of water • Finely chopped coriander • 2-3 tbsp oil

Directions

• Wash 1 cup toovar dal jar and wash it well with water and keep it for 10-15 minutes. After 10 minutes put water out and put pulse in a pressure cooker and mix 2 cups of water in it and add 1/2 tsp turmeric and peanuts. Shake the pulse and put the cooker head down. Cook the dal on low flame until it is 2-3 whistles. • Prepare the dhokli flour until the dal is cooked. Add 1/2 cup of wheat flour, gram flour, celery, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, 1 tsp oil in a vessel and mix it. Add a little water to the ferry mixture and knead it like a dough. And keep it for 10-15 minutes. • When the lentil is cooked, turn off the gas, but do not remove the lid until it turns out completely. When all the steam is removed from the cooker, take the pulse in a bowl. And finely chop it with blender. • Heat a patley / rinse on medium flame. Now add 1 tbspn oil and heat it. When the dal is cooked, stop the gas and put the chopped coriander on top. • Now take it out in a bowl and let the papad, roast hot with rice.
